I have dyslexia. Reading and writing takes me forever, and my brain reverses letters, numbers and sometimes writes the wrong word entirely without catching it. So over the last three years, I personally built the system behind this report from scratch. Not purchased. Not plugged into. Built. I wrote every piece of clinical logic myself. I added every lab range using my functional medicine training. Every treatment recommendation came from 14 years of NP experience, A4M certification, and honestly from listening to patients and sometimes figuring things out in my own health journey. Every follow-up protocol, every "this is why it matters" explanation you just read, that is all mine. It took years of training, a lot of late nights, and a genuine obsession with making sure it actually reflected how I think and practice.

The AI piece is not writing my reports. It is formatting them. Think of it like having a really good medical transcriptionist who takes every thought in my head, every connection I make between your symptoms, labs, genetics, history and organizes it into paragraphs I could never write fast enough or consistently enough on my own given how my brain works. It saves me time, reduces my mistakes, and lets me give you more detail than I could produce manually for every single patient. I still review every report before it reaches you, doesn't mean my dyslexic brain wont miss something but when something goes sideways or when it leaves out something I think you specifically need to know, I add it. It is my clinical brain in a system, and the AI just makes it readable.

This report looks different than what you get from your PCP because it is different, and that is completely intentional. In my experience, when you understand why you are having a symptom, why a supplement matters, and why a lab value is significant, you are far more likely to follow through and actually feel better. Most of you are coming to me because someone already told you your labs are normal, you are fine, and this is just part of getting older. That is not medicine. That is not listening. It is an easy out when a provider does not have the time or the framework to actually connect the dots. I do.

This is the way I would explain your labs if we had two hours together in a room. You do not have to absorb it all at once. Come back to it. That is exactly why it is written the way it is.
